Log files come in handy to check up on who visits your website. You can take peoples data that enter / load your page without them even knowing. You can take their referer, this is how they got to your website. Via google, a blog, etc etc. User agent, this is what browser they use, Firefox, Chrome, IE, all that! IP, you can even take their IP address!!! :O.
Yeah anyway, here is the log file.
Save this as log.php and go to your index.php and include it.
